The Apollo Lunar Tongs in 2002.

The accompanying sign reads

Apollo Lunar Tongs

The tongs made it easier for the astronauts to pick up lunar rocks while standing upright. They were an important piece of equipment because it was almost impossible for the astronauts to bend or kneel down in the spacesuit. The tongs helped to retrieve tools or other equipment that they may have dropped.

Additional information on this tool can be found on page 31 of the Catalog of Apollo Lunar Surface Geological Sampling Tools and Containers.
