Detail of the upper portion of the S-II's thrust structure.

The stage's J-2 engines were removed in June.

As a testing, rather than flight, S-II stage, the stage lacks the plumbing connecting the LOX and liquid helium tanks to the engines. See my pictures of the LOX line on the S-II stage at Johnson Space Center (the official visitor center of which is Space Center Houston) and the hydrogen feed lines on the S-II stage in the Apollo-Saturn V Center at Kennedy Space Center.
