Saturn V Restoration Project

This Saturn V Rocket is the test rocket - the pathfinder - for the program. Lessons learned during the testing phase prompted design modifications for the 13 Saturn V rockets that flew. In all of the missions, including the six that went to the moon, the astronauts returned safely to earth.
