Overall walk-around of the forward end of the engine.

Note the LOX turbopump at center. Gas from the gas generator enters the turbopump's turbine manifold via the the cross over duct, the large-diameter duct wrapping around the bottom of the engine.

After exiting the turbine, the gas flows through the bellowed heat exchanger and then to the exhaust manifold inlet, through which it is routed to the thrust chamber through "cat eye" slots in the regenerative cooling tubes comprising the thrust chamber.
