From right to left, note the injector on the far right of the picture, the interface between the thrust chamber and nozzle extension, and the shingles comprising the interior of the nozzle extension.

The white blotches were present when we visited in both 2004 and 2005. I don't know exactly what they are, but imagine they might be some sort of fungal growth or insect cocoon.
