Space Vehicle Mockup Facility

One stop on the JSC tram tour was at the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility in Building 9. We visited in 2008, when the Shuttle program was still underway and prior to the cancellation of Project Orion.

The Shuttle-related simulators, no longer needed, have since been awarded to museums.
