Detail of the side of the thrust chamber. At right is the exhaust manifold. At center is the fuel inlet manifold. Fuel from the turbopump enters this manifold, where it is introduced into 180 "down" tubes. The fuel is routed to the reverse-flow manifold, where it then travels up 360 "up" tubes to the injector.
