Detail of the ingress/egress hatch, the main hatch used for lunar surface EVAs.
The hatch is displayed in the open position; on Apollo 11, Buzz Aldrin (who was the second astronaut to egress for a lunar surface EVA) partially closed the hatch.
Some equipment (e.g., the ascent engine cover) can be seen through the Plexiglas.
