Detail of the suit's right wrist disconnect, used to connect the pressure glove to the suit.

The wrist disconnects were color-coded to assist the astronaut in easily visually identifying which glove went where; red indicated the right arm and blue indicated the left. The glove-side wrist disconnects were coded with matching colors.
