What appears to be some sort of electrical umbilical. This is located on the pilot's side of the spacecraft, toward the bottom as the spacecraft now sits (it is just barely visible at about the 8:00 position on dsc62525.jpg).

I'm not certain of its purpose, but it appears to be in the same location on the spacecraft as the flexible black line resting on top of the "D" support in NASA photo S65-49568.
