The sign accompanying the LES tower jettison motor. It reads

Apollo Tower Jettison

A Morton Thiokol solid-propellant rocket motor like this one was used to pull away the escape tower assembly that topped the Saturn V launch vehicle. The dual nozzle design is most unusual; the thrust developed is about 173,550 newtons (39,000 lb).

Donated by Morton Thiokol, Inc.
