Detail of the nozzle extension connect flange.
The nozzle extension bolts to the engine via the holds toward the bottom of the flange.
The silver tape at the top of the flange (near the black-painted metal) appears to be the "tadpole seal" which prevents leakage of turbine exhaust gasses when mated to the engine.
