Near the Static Test Tower is a liquid hydrogen sphere from the old J-2 test stand (which has been subsequently demolished); the remains of the test stand appear at right.

I've annotated this sphere's location on the aerial overview, and this sphere and the original test stand are visible in a picture of the East Test Area at the Historic American Engineering Record.
