Rover Training Vehicle
The Rover on display is a training vehicle designed for use only on Earth.
Since the Earth's gravity is six times that of the Moon, the "1-g trainer" had
to be heavier and stronger than the actual flight versions. While the
trainer's wheels were made of rubber, the Rovers driven on the lunar surface
had wire mesh tires.
