Detail of the interior of the Service Propulsion System (SPS) engine.

At the very center is the engine's injector. The remaining rust-colored section is the SPS engine proper (which, based on its color, appears to have never been fired). The silver and darker grey-colored sections are the columbium section of the nozzle extension.
