Final Demolition of the F-1 Engine Test Stand

The F-1 Engine Test Stand at Marshall Space Flight Center was constructed to conduct single-engine static firings. NASA began the process to demolish this test stand in 2009 and final demolition took place on November 30, 2012.

A Marshall employee passed along these photos of the final demolition, as well as a photo taken some three months later of the stand's foundation.
