This engine and the engine at Cernan are painted white, but the winding is still readily visible. The engine at the USSRC and the thrust structure at the Michigan Space & Science Center are gold-colored, presumably the color of the raw material. The engine at the National Air & Space Museum seems to be covered with some sort of tape, hiding the fibrous appearance.
