The hatch drive hole on the exterior of the hatch, used to unlatch or latch the hatch from the outside.

Ground crews carry a tool called an "emergency wrench" or an "Apollo hatch tool." This is essentially a modified, 7/16" Allen wrench, which can be used to open the hatch from the outside.
