Liberty Bell 7

Liberty Bell 7, which flew Gus Grissom, America's second man in space, sank during the recovery efforts but was located and retrieved from the ocean floor. After undergoing restoration at the Kansas Cosmosphere, it went on a nation-wide tour, after which it returned to its permanent home at the Cosmosphere.

Before seeing it at the Cosmosphere after the tour, I was able to visit Liberty Bell 7 twice while on its tour, once at the US Space & Rocket Center and once at Adler Planetarium. I have additional pictures from the tour in my separate Liberty Bell 7 Tour page.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of Liberty Bell 7, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced. Come back some time later to see if I've finished up, or drop me an email to request me to prioritize the rest of these pictures.
