The tube number marking corresponds to the primary tube's number; of course, each primary tube bifurcates and so has two secondary tubes. The weld was done so as to clearly identify the two secondary tubes (i.e., one set of digits under each tube, with a bit of extra space between the sets of digits) corresponding to the primary tube.
