Exide Submarine Battery Cell

The Exide submarine battery cell is located in the waiting area for the USS Cobia tours. Between visits, the museum relocated the cell from against an interior wall to against an exterior glass wall.

It's hard to keep in mind that this is not a "battery", but merely one of 126 cells which makes up one of the sub's two batteries!
