EC-121

Although the sign identifies this as a Lockheed Super Constellation, the aircraft's to radomes would seem to indicate that this is actually an EC-121 Warning Star (which was, indeed, based on the Super Constellation), or (since it's in Naval livery) perhaps a WV-2. The aircraft performed an early AWACS-type role.

This is Bureau No. 141311, which was indeed delivered to the USN in August 1956 as a WV-2 but which was redesignated as an EC-121K in November 1962.

Aerial view.
