C-97 Stratofreighter

The Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter was a cargo plane developed from the B-50 bomber. Variants include the KC-97 tanker aircraft the Aero Spacelines 377PG Pregnant Guppy; see the Oldprops Boeing 377/C97 page for additional information about C-97 variants.

The plane is parked on a corner, behind a fence. When I visited, someone was working onboard the aircraft. I don't know if this was general maintenance or if the work was in anticipation of moving the aircraft for the closing of the museum.
