The sign accompanying the shaver. It reads

Apollo Dry Shaver

Wind-up shavers like this, which don't require electricity, were operated by Apollo astronauts in much the same way that electric shavers are today.

Strictly speaking, this sign merely states that shavers "like this" were operated by Apollo astronauts. This wind-up shaver appears to be manufactured by a different company than the Monaco shaver which flew on Apollo 14. I could find no information leading me to believe that the Thorens Riviera model was used in the Apollo program.
