Wind-up shavers like this, which don't require electricity, were operated by
Apollo astronauts in much the same way that electric shavers are today.
Strictly speaking, this sign merely states that shavers "like this" were
operated by Apollo astronauts. This wind-up shaver appears to be manufactured
by a different company than the Monaco
shaver which flew on Apollo 14. I could find no information leading me
to believe that the Thorens Riviera model was used in the Apollo program.
