The edge of the feed port is marked with "ASSY A6L-102005-08". The feed port was added to the helmet during the A6L development cycle, and many suit components retain their "A6L" part number.
Note the grooves in the feed port's edge, to allow the feed port cover to engage for opening and closing. To remove the feed port cover, the astronaut would depress the cover, rotate it clockwise, and pull out.
