A sign posted near the B-52D. It reads

Warning

Entering Explosive
Clear Zone
Stay on the Path

I didn't see this sign until I'd walked most of the way around the B-52D (located just south of the -G) and started taking long shots of the B-52G. My wife, who came up the sidewalk from the south, noticed the sign and brought it to my attention.

I was a good citizen and stayed on the sidewalk (which limited the photos I took of the -G), but I couldn't help but wonder whether the crew who mowed the lawn drove armored tractors or received hazardous duty pay ...
