Wallops Island

There's an observation deck on top of the visitor center building, affording a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area.

The woman at the visitor center information desk said that if we followed Chincoteague Road as it kicked east to Chincoteague Island and looked south, we might be able to see some of the launch pads and related structures on Wallops Flight Facility proper, so we did just that.
