Swing Arm 8

The swing arms on the Apollo Launch Umbilical Tower (LUT) are numbered from 1 to 9, with #1 being the bottom-most swing arm and #9 being the upper-most. Swing arm 8 was used to provide air-conditioning, vent line, coolant, electrical, and pneumatic interfaces to the Service Module. It retracted at lift-off and had a retract time of 9.0 seconds.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of swing arm 8, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced.
