Skylab Oxygen Tank (Old Museum)

The museum previously displayed its Skylab oxygen tank in the "old" museum. It was located just west of Space Hall for some time, but was moved into Space Hall proper shortly after I started visiting. It is currently displayed in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration.

This tank was recovered after the space station reentered the atmosphere over Australia in July 1979.
