One of the signs accompanying the Skylab mockup. It reads
Skylab made nearly 35,000 orbits in a time period of 2,249 days and traveled a
distance of 1 billion miles. Skylab crews I, II, and III spent 28 days, 59
days, and 84 days, respectively, in Earth-orbital missions.
The sign also shows the "Skylab Program Cluster Configuration," including the
Command & Service Module, Apollo Telescope Mount, Multiple Docking Adapter,
a docking port on the MDA, Airlock Module, Saturn Workshop, solar panels
(pre-launch art which includes both solar arrays; one was torn off due to a
mishap during launch), micrometeoroid shield, experiments, sleep compartment,
waste compartment, and ward room.
