Detail of the S-IVB forward umbilical on the S-IVB's forward skirt.

Although it looks like plastic wrap has been stuffed in the gaseous hydrogen vent valve, a close examination of this photo reveals that it's actually a screen which was placed over the valve (presumably to protect the valve while it was displayed outdoors) which has been painted over. Prior to the stage's restoration, the screen covered the exterior of the vent, but appears to have become crumpled during the restoration.
