Jupiter Reentry Vehicle

For a very short time, the USSRC exhibited a Jupiter reentry vehicle; I don't know if I ever saw it except during this one particular visit.

There was no sign which accompanied the reentry vehicle. It appeared to be charred on the exterior, leading me to believe that it was flown.

The ablative material was surprisingly thin, perhaps two inches thick.
