This smaller inlet receives turbine gases from the oxidizer turbine bypass valve (from the fuel turbopump turbine), which is used to control and calibrate the speed of the oxygen pump; compare with the main turbine exhaust manifold inlet, which receives the turbine gases exiting the LOX turbopump turbine.
