F-1 Engine (Indoors) Gallery

Overall view of the F-1 engine's interface panel.

At center is the LOX inlet (note the G4088 turbopumpshaft preload fixture assembly running from 11:00 to 5:00 across the face of the LOX inlet closure), with the RP-1 inlets on either side (see my page about F-1 turbopump inlet closures).

Picture 1 of 3.

Behind the interface panel note the turbopump. The first connection (at right) is the no. 1 oxidizer high-pressure duct (output from the LOX turbopump). Immediately behind that (also at right) is the no. 1 fuel high-pressure duct (output from the RP-1 turbopump). Behind that (at left) is the no. 2 fuel inlet elbow.
