Views of the turbopump and heat exchanger.

The turbine is located beneath the silver turbine shield, aft of the turbopump. The gas generator (on the opposite side of the engine) produces hot gas for the turbine, which drives the turbopump.

Note the four lines leading into the heat exchanger at left. These are oxygen and helium lines leading into, and then back out of, the heat exchanger. They are used to pressurize the S-IC stage's LOX and fuel tanks, respectively.
