Some sort of bracket on the top of the ALSRC.

On the one hand, it seems that that some sort of straps might be woven through these brackets to stow the box in the lunar and/or command modules, but on the other hand (at least for later missions) the ALSRCs were placed in Lunar Sample Container Decontamination Bags, so if anything these protuberances would be more likely to cut a hole in the decon bag.
