When this scoop was displayed in Rocket City Legacy, it was accompanied by a sign reading


Lunar Scoop

A stainless steel scoop was used by the astronauts to collect soil and rock samples too small to be picked up with the tongs. It is adjustable from 0 to 90 degrees for scooping or entrenching. The scoop can also be attached to the extension handle.
