The aircraft's cockpit and canopy. Used to seeing P-51Ds on display, seeing the "razorback" instead of the more customary bubble canopy was interesting.

The stencilling around the cockpit notes that it's "Experimental" and that it was piloted by "Capt. Charles F. Blair" of "Pan American World Airways."

Also note the 48-star flag (Alaska did not become a state until 1959).
