U-2 Dragon Lady

Much like when it flew reconnaissance flights, the Strategic Air & Space Museum's U-2 (SN 56-6701) is hung high above the other aircraft in Hangar A.

You can read more about the U-2 on the Blackbirds.net U-2 page.

While I was photographing the U-2 on one of my trips, young couple handed me their camera and asked me to take their picture in front of the U-2. It ran through my mind that I might advise the boyfriend/new husband that the plane's nickname was "Dragon Lady," but I thought better of it.
