Apollo FA-5 Penlight

The in-flight display of Stafford in his ICG also includes a "weightless" penlight.

Six to eight of these ACR Electronics Co. Model FA-5 penlights were carried in the Apollo command module, and another two were carried in the LM. Like a modern mini-Maglite, this brass penlight was powered by two AA batteries and was turned on and off by rotating the bulb end of the casing.

Additional information on this penlight is available on Space Flown Artifacts.
