To exit the spacecraft, the astronauts would get on their hands and knees and back out of the hatch (eventually wriggling backwards on their bellies), stopping on the porch.

Note that the hand rails on the porch differ from those on flight model LMs; compare, e.g., with AS11-40-5868.
