Mercury S/C #19

Between my 2012 and 2018 visits, the museum renovated the spacecraft display. Disappointingly, the Mercury and Gemini spacecraft are now in a much smaller area, and are both displayed in corners — limiting visitors to seeing only two side the spacecraft, rather than allowing a full, 360° view.

In the case of the Mercury spacecraft, the display is improved slightly in that it is no longer displayed in a full glass case as well as its Plexiglas sheath.
