The wrist disconnect on the suit's gloves were color coded for ease of identification; the disconnect on the right glove (and corresponding disconnect on the suit's right arm) were red.

Note that the index and middle fingers have lights to help illuminate the instrument panel or other areas where the astronaut might have been working. The battery would have been stored in the holder to the left of the laces.
