Looking into the water at Omaha Beach from the walkway by the Normandy American Cemetery.

When I first saw these, I thought that they landing obstacles which hadn't been cleared from the water, but I understand that the remains of a Mulberry are still in the water, so that's what it may be. The tide must have been coming in, as when we visited the beach later, they were no longer visible.
