Omaha Beach D-Day Monument

At the end of Avenue de la Liberation in SAint-Laurent-sur-Mer, on the edges of Omaha Beach, is the the Omaha Beach D-Day Monument.

We visited in 2002; in 2004 the government of France erected a series of abstract sculptures called "Les Braves" on the beach behind the monument.
