At the park entrance is the "Floral Clock," although I visited too early in the season for the flowers to be in bloom.

I'm uncertain as to why the flag was at half-staff; the flag would have been at half-staff through March 26 to honor the victims of the terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium, but I visited on April 9.
