A tear in the Mylar foil shows some of the underlying structure of the descent stage.

In preparation for the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 flight, the National Air and Space Museum replaced the Mylar foil on the descent stage, and the LM has been relocated and potentially underwent an additional restoration as part of the museum's renovation, so presumably this view is no longer possible.
