Walk-around of the Oxygen Purge System (OPS) which sat atop the Portable Life Support System.

Picture 2 of 3.

Should the PLSS fail, the OPS would (hopefully) provide enough oxygen for the astronaut to return to the safety of the lunar module.

The OPS, of course, would normally be wrapped in protective Beta cloth.
