Nanchang CJ-6

In 2002, a slick-looking plane was for sale at the West Bend Municipal Airport. Based on the red stars on the tail and fuselage, I guessed at the time that it was Soviet, but by Googling the tail number (N9278F) I found that it was actually a Nanchang CJ-6A, a Chinese trainer aircraft whose first flight took place in 1958.
