Saturn IB Cell Phone Theme
NASA recently set up a page featuring NASA-themed cell phone ring tones. This prompted me to upload the Saturn IB rocket theme I've made for my cell phone.
I have an LG800G, which has a 240x320-pixel screen. It support separate graphics for its "locked" screen and its "home" screen, as well as smaller graphics (240x100 pixels) for incoming and outgoing calls. It plays MP3s for it normal ring tone and for its "text message received" tone.

- "Acquisition of signal": 61 kilobytes. 3 seconds, starting with some static, a quindar tone, the phrase "acquisition of signal" a quindar tone, and a bit of additional static. I use this as my primary ring tone.
- "Getting the information on the downlink now": 45 kilobytes. 2 seconds, starting with a quindar tone, the phrase "Getting the information on the downlink now", and another quindar tone. Pieced together from the Apollo 11 air-to-ground. I use this as my "text message receied" ring tone.
